Niger Trips:

  • Sahara: Discovery of Aïr Mountains by 4WD or trekking with camels to Arakao (a volcano crater), Temet (highest sand dunes of Tenere, about 300 m), Adrar Chiriet , Blue mountains, Iférouane and Timia.
  • Tenere: Crossing the Tenere via the oases of Fachi and Bilma, Djado Plateau then across the Tafassaset to Adrarbous and the sand dunes of Temet
  • Tour of Niger: This trip is just to show you the immensity of Niger and its cultural diversity; Niamey, Maradi, Zinder, Agadez and back to Niamey via Tahoua

  • Tenere and Lake Tchad: 21 days starting from Agadez via Tanout to the massif of Termit, N’guigmi, N’gourti, Agadem, Zoobaba, Bilma, Djado, Chirfa, Arakao, Timia and back to Agadez.

Mali Trips:

(This trips begin from Niamey the capital city of Niger)

  • Timbuktu and Dogon country: Niamey, Gao, Timbuktu, Douentza, Dogon country, Bandiagara, Sevare, Djenne, Mopti, Hombori, Gao, Niamey
  • Gao and Timbuktu: Niamey, Gao, Timbuktu, visit of Dogon villages, Hombori, Gossi, look for Elephants and then back to Niamey via Northern Burkina Faso
  • Bénin, Burkina and Mali: Niamey, Ouagadougou (capital of Burkina Faso), Dogon country in Mali, Visit of Djenne and Mopti, Hombori, Gao , Niamey.

Short Trips:

(Usually 5 to 6 days, and can be combined with other itineraries)

  • Parc W and the River Niger: Visit of the Park W, canoe ride on the river, giraffe Safari (duration 4 up to 7 days).

  • Parc W and Dallol Bosso: Safari at Park W, canoe ride in Gaya, visit the giraffes, and Djerma villages.

  • Ayorou: See Ayorou or Tillabery markets between (Friday – Sunday) with the possibility to visit the hippos.

Special Trips:

  • Aïr Festival the 27 th, 28 th, and 29 th of December every year.

  • International music festival in Essakane (60 km West of Timbuktu)

  • Nomad festivals in September, Guerewol (the Woodabès celebrations) and the Tuareg festivals.
  • Discovery of the Mont Tamgack or the mysterious villages on the plateau of Mont Bagzam in November and December

Encampments:

We also offer an encampment option. In this option you will stay in a comfortable and traditional fixed encampment in the desert and we will organise the nomad fete of camel racing. Included are:Big nomad tents, Nomad kitchen, Toilets, Possibilities to shower, Electric installation

For most trips we are able to organize and offer a variety of additional possibilities for shorter periods of time.
